Description

This profile is gentle on the coffee puck and not too demanding on the barista. Produces a very acceptable espresso in a wide variety of settings.

Preinfusion
Aim for a flow of 8.0 ml/s at 88.0 °C at coffee sensor with a fast transition for max 20 s or until pressure up to 4.0 bar
Rise and Hold
Aim for a pressure of 8.6 bar at 88.0 °C at coffee sensor limited at 8.0 ml/s with a fast transition for max 4 s
Decline
Aim for a pressure of 6.0 bar at 88.0 °C at coffee sensor with a smooth transition for max 35 s
